Meet Dr. Brandon Banks

Dr. Brandon Banks is the newest physician to join Louisiana Pain Care. He is a Monroe native who decided to return to his roots after attending medical school and working in Tennessee for the last 10 years. 

After graduating from the University of Louisiana – Monroe with a degree in Biology, he attended LSU where he received his Doctor of Medicine from the Health Sciences Center. During his anesthesiology residency, he realized his passion for pain management. Instead of treating a patient with the goal of momentary relief, Dr. Banks wanted to make a bigger difference in their lives. 

The ability to take care of a patient and through a small, minimally-invasive procedure that provides a long-term solution was eye-opening for Dr. Banks and steered him in the direction of pain management. 

Dr. Banks offers his patients the majority of conventional and interventional pain treatments and has a strong interest in Spinal Cord Stimulation. He also provides Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation therapy that can relieve pain in a specific area. The science and technology behind this treatment allow Dr. Banks to target his patient’s root cause of pain.

Dr. Banks has certifications from the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.

When he is not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his kids, watching them play sports, and spending time outdoors. Now that Dr. Banks is back in Louisiana, he is excited to get back to hunting and fishing.
